Edward was born at Bovey Tracey and today lives at Widecombe in the Moor. 'My art has been with me all my life the sculpture came about really by chance. While clearing a wardrobe of wire coat hangers I noticed how they all tangled by random chance. So if that happened by chance I thought I could simply twist them together with a pair of pliers.... Five hours later things were not so simple nothing worked. I was just about to call it a day when one piece held the tube together! From that I was off. Due to wire coat hangers no longer being around I now use galvanised fencing wire. Creating from nudes to elephants. All from personal observations and the image in my mind.'
