Gillie Hoyte Byrom is known for her
enamel portrait miniatures. The work is mainly commissioned,
meticulously detailed and exacting.

Some examples will be on display and
a teaching DVD which she made with the Guild of Enamellers will be on
view.
For relaxation Gillie walks her
lurcher “Spice” and paints portraits in acrylic using large brushes.
At High Beara she will be showing a series of portrait paintings of
dogs for the first time – “Friends of Spice” which do not require a
magnifying lens. There will be prints and cards for sale in aid of
P.A.T Dog (Pets As Therapy – Registered Charity).
